Teardown is a premium destruction simulation game for PC. In this game players attempt to pull off the perfect heist through problem solving. If they can't do so through problem solving, players have the option to use brute force to get the loot and solve their objective. The game was developed by Tuxedo Labs, with its latest update being in November of 2021.

Premium Destruction, Premium Play

Fans of destruction simulators would rejoice in Teardown. This premium PC game offers unique methods of gameplay for players to solve their objectives, with violence and force being an option. The game features a voxel art style, which is similar to Minecraft. However, while the art may be in line with Minecraft, the gameplay is more similar to Demolition Company. This is true especially because nearly every object in the game is destructible and interactable.

Teardown offers a variety of tools for players to use, including explosives and even hammers. When you play, you're tasked with trying to plan out the perfect heist by any means necessary. The way you achieve your goal depends on your preference. You're able to plan out every detail with precision and wit, or you could simply force your way through with force and willpower. No matter which method you choose, chaos is likely to ensue.

Another interesting facet of the game is that it features a colorful storyline packed with characters that come alive with each step. You'll interact with these characters as you play, becoming further immersed in their world. You'll also be given ten different weapons and tools, of which you'll be able to use throughout your gameplay. These weapons and tools allow you to wreak havoc and bring chaos and destruction. From blowtorches to hammers and explosives, there's something to please everyone. If you combine these with the fully destrucible voxel environments and somewhat realistic physics, the game offers unique play that others don't.

There are many ways to play in Teardown. There's a sandbox mode that allows you to roam freely and destroy as you please, among other modes. The game also allows for mods, allowing you to change the way you play to something nearly entirely new. You'll also have access to the supported Steam Workshop, giving you even more options in your gameplay. However, it should be noted that this game is still in early access, so changes to the core gameplay and other aspects may still occur.

Is It Worth It?

Teardown is a fun and unique destruction simulator game that offers more than just violence. The game allows for intellect while still offering good old destruction and force. There are plenty of ways to play, with mods allowing for even more fun and uniqueness. Because of this, Teardown is something different in the simulation niche and should be given a chance, even if you're not normally a fan of destruction sims.
